Lead the Future of AI in Semiconductor Manufacturing

Job Duties, but not limited to:

  • Architect and buildthe MLOps backbone of our AI products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate multi-functionallywith team members, designers, and engineers to define and implement technical requirements.
  • Deploy sophisticated ML modelsat customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and high performance in production air-gapped environments.
  • Stay ahead of the curveby integrating the latest ML/AI research into real-world applications.
  • Lead the data pipeline-from dataset selection and preprocessing to quality assurance and model training.
  • Lead experimentationand statistical analysis to fine-tune models for optimal accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and inspirejunior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • A degree inComputer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experiencedeveloping and deploying ML models for external customers-not just internal tools.
  • Deep expertise inPythonand ML frameworks likePyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
  • Proven experience withfoundational modelsand modern AI toolchains.
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of solving sophisticated technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills-you can explain sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managingprojects or teams, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 3 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.

Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
