Job Description

Overview of the Position:


Address technical issues for FAA approved aftermarket aircraft parts.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Process drawing changes from redline to release.
  • Attend Design Review to present proposed drawing changes.
  • Follow department procedures for drawing changes.
  • If required, may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with ASME Y14.5 dimension and geometric tolerance standards.

Requirements

Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel.

  • Travel up to 20%.
