Fleet Business Relations - Government Key Account Manager

The Government Key Account Manager is responsible for all operational activities within Fleet, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance to ensure that Stellantis' Government account orders are processed, produced, upfit, and delivered according to contractual obligations.

The Government Key Account Manager will need to communicate, coordinate, and work closely with several internal departments within Fleet, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance to ensure contractual obligations with Fleet Governmental customers are met. They will also work directly with government customers and fleet account managers to ensure customer needs are being addressed. This is a critical customer-facing role supporting customer retention and sales growth objectives and has enterprise-wide responsibilities and visibility.

Duties include:



  • Customer relationship management -responding to Government agencies and key dealership accounts inquiries and operational concerns
  • Bid specifications alignment within internal Stellantis systems to ensure proper order alignment, translation and processing.
  • Production program alignment, monitoring available production for Government orders and communicating data and timeframes to key parties accordingly.
  • Vehicle order and project management - proactive monitoring of key account orders to ensure progress from scheduling through production, logistics and delivery to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations
  • Invoicing and incentives - ensure appropriate application of incentives and accurate billing and invoicing

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Sales, Supply Chain, Order Management, Customer Service, or other related experience
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macro's, etc.)
  • Strong customer service skills in negotiations and conflict management
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excels in building positive working relationships
  • Analytical and problem solving capabilities


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience within the automotive industry in a government sales or supply chain role
  • Understanding of government bid processes
