Spring & Summer 2026 Intern - Data Quality / Data Product

The Data Research and Collection Intern collects and interprets data for our customers affected by the new European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) mandate. You will work closely with our marketing team to identify new use cases for Wdesk and suggest product improvements related to the ESMA mandate.

What You'll Do

  • Perform market research on the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) mandate

  • Collect information on companies' current compliance with ESMA disclosure requirements and gather information comparing current state to present and potential future Wdesk functionality

  • Analyze data to drive decision-making on new features of Wdesk

  • Suggest new product development priorities for Wdesk after gathering market data

  • Analyze use of Wdesk by current customers in the EU

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications

  • A research mentality

  • Proven ability to analyze data

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement

  • The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Experience using Excel to collect and analyze data

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Minimal travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

Sponsorship Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future

  • Summer 2026 Internships: Monday, May 18, 2025 (40/hours per week max)
