The Role The Vice President, HR Business Partner - U.S. Commercial will serve as the senior HR leader for the Oncology and Dermatology commercial businesses. Reporting to the EVP & CHRO and serving on the HR Leadership Team, this leader will act as a strategic advisor, organizational architect, and change leader-helping the U.S. Commercial organization adapt to a dynamic portfolio, evolving field force models, and new ways of working. A key aspect of this role is ensuring consistent and scalable people practices across both Oncology and Dermatology and acting as a key partner to International Commercial to drive a unified approach to talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness across Incyte's global Commercial enterprise. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR & Organizational Leadership * Serve as the senior HR partner to the EVPs of U.S. Oncology and U.S. Dermatology. * Work with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver consistent people practices across both franchises-talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, succession planning, compensation planning, and engagement; apply local approaches wherever appropriate for the unique needs of each franchise. * Lead organizational design efforts to adapt structures to evolving portfolio needs, market dynamics, and field force transformation. * Partner closely with International Commercial HR leaders to align frameworks, share best practices, and ensure a global, unified approach to Commercial people strategy. Change Management & Transformation * Act as a change agent for U.S. Commercial, guiding teams through organizational changes, field force adaptations, and proactive workforce planning. * Build change strategies that enable business continuity while sustaining culture and engagement. * Equip leaders to successfully navigate transformation with clarity, accountability, and empathy. Talent & Leadership Development * Build leadership depth across U.S. Commercial while aligning with global Commercial talent pipelines for any cross-company talent movement. * Partner with HR COEs and International Commercial HR to design scalable, enterprise-wide programs for leadership and career development. * Strengthen early careers, field leadership, and commercial excellence programs (from how we develop, engage, reward, and attract talent) to support future growth. Culture & Engagement * Champion Incyte's culture of collaboration, agility, and patient focus across all Commercial functions. * Serve as a trusted coach to senior leaders and managers. HR Leadership Team Contribution * As part of the HRLT, help set enterprise-wide HR strategy while representing the voice of U.S. Commercial. * Lead a small team across the Commercial business, providing coaching, leadership, and guidance. * Collaborate with peers across global HR to ensure consistency, scalability, and innovation. * Model collaborative leadership across the company. Qualifications * 15+ years of progressive HR leadership, including extensive experience supporting large commercial organizations. * Understanding of commercial models including field force design, sales excellence, access, etc. * Proven success in organizational design, workforce transformation, and change leadership. * Demonstrated ability to unify people practices across business units and align with global peers. * Strong influencing and coaching skills with senior executives. * Track record of building inclusive, high-performing, and engaged organizations. * Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced HR certification preferred.
