Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Essential Functions

  • Support pricing strategy for more than 1.5 billion annual gallons of branded fuel across Sunoco's nationwide network.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including trading, supply, scheduling, and sales management-to independently price 1,000+ COAG and Dealer sites daily.

  • Apply strong analytical skills, critical judgment, and collaboration to deliver accurate, data-driven pricing decisions.

  • Provide product-, terminal-, and site-level pricing recommendations that contribute to over $400M in annual gross margin.

  • Conduct daily reviews of site performance and market activity, leveraging analytical tools and technical models to support decision-making.

  • Develop and refine models, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance pricing accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Take ownership of assigned markets and channels, demonstrating independence, leadership, and strong work ethic in day-to-day responsibilities.


Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training Required

  • BS in Business, Finance, Administration, or Marketing.
  • 0-3 years industry experience desired.
  • Distinctive proficiency in SAP, Excel and Right Angle.
  • Experience in deep financial analysis, SQL-based macros and complex modeling
  • High analytical and negotiation competence.
  • Handles complex analyses well with little supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and drive

Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:

  • Research, analyze, and implement gasoline and distillate price changes.
  • Provide accurate statistical data and recommend changes in pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Provide oversight for actual to budget performance, sales forecasts and identify areas of risk/opportunity.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive environment, staying apprised of all issues relating to pricing and supply.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions:

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
