Job Highlights The Head of Refrigeration manages a central Refrigeration Department of 5 Refrigeration Technicians for South Arkansas. Engineering responsibilities for refrigeration equipment design, replacement, and optimization. Subject matter expert for HVAC relevant codes, OEM equipment, and new refrigerant updates. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure jobs are preformed correctly, safely, and efficiently. FEL1 & 2 Engineering for chiller replacements. Ensure HVAC units are installed correctly and have optimized efficiency. Ensure department documentation is correct. Responsible for Refrigerant reporting as required. Champion for sustainability by lowering utility usage, CO2 reduction, and upgrading to environmentally friendly refrigerants. Maintain maintenance spend for refrigeration department and for rental/lease chillers. Collaborate with other reliability to perform Bad Actor Analysis to increase asset availability. Experience and Skills 5 years experience industrial refrigeration. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) preferred.
