Staten Island Executive Healthcare Internship

1. Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department.
2. Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures.
3. Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures.
4. Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
2. Currently enrolled as an Undergrad Sophomore; Undergrad Junior; Undergrad Senior in Business Economics, Finance, Pre-med, Biology, Communications or a related field.
3. From Staten Island or ties to the Staten Island community, required.
4. Exposure to Microsoft office tools, preferred
5. Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, planning, and organizational skills, presentation skills, data entry experience, preferred.

Schedule and Location:

Full-time, in-person role

Starting: June 2026

Location: Staten Island, NY
