Perform professional administrative support duties for a program, department or specific functional area of the College. These duties and responsibilities involve varying degrees of complexity and confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. It is intended to identify the major responsibilities and requirements of the job. The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated on this description.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the department/function to ensure efficient office operations i.e. correspondence, records, reports, calendars, etc.
- Provide support for the day-to-day activities related to the financial responsibilities of the department re: budget, expense reports, purchasing, etc.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of on- and off-campus meetings, events and/or workshops.
- Provide reception support i.e. answer and screen telephone calls, greet and interact with the public, students, faculty and staff.
- Maintain current professional and technical knowledge in the field through professional education and activities. Provide back-up support services, as required.
- Support College managers in quality and process improvement activities.
- Participate in and contribute to assignments and special projects of a similar nature and level.

- Interpersonal communication skills - oral, written and listening
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to attend closely to detailed work, completing and maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work processes
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with computer software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets

The Administrative Assistant II-Student Life works in the Student Affairs division, and supports the Student Life department. The position is available on/or before January 12, 2026.

Hours Hours are generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evenings may be required to support the needs of students/campus events.
Interview Selected candidates will be invited for an onsite interview held Monday, December 8th.
