Description Candidate should have a good understanding of application life-cycle development and strong understanding of object-oriented development Principles. The responsibilities for this position include all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery model. You will be challenged and provided a tremendous opportunity for growth in a fast-paced, and fun environment Primary Responsibilities * Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our web based applications using C#, ASP.NET, React (JavaScript), and T-SQL. Help build scalable, reliable software in a fast-moving environment. Collaborate across teams-including product, architecture, QA-to deliver features that matter. Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and push for high quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot issues and support legacy-to-modern migrations as needed. Embrace learning: you'll get exposure to multiple technologies and you'll be expected to grow your skills over time Additional Skills & Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of software development experience, or a Master's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience. Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. * Demonstrated Proficiency in all aspects of programming using standard tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops/Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS) and SQL Experience with MS SQL Server highly preferred. * Proficiency with one or more object-oriented programming languages * Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint). * Proficiency in SQL technologies. Must possess strong data analysis skills to support data quality efforts. * Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, assess technical risks, and recommend sound solutions in a timely manner * Proficiency in analyzing data flows * Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology * Goal oriented and self-motivated * Candidate must have the ability to work independently (unsupervised) or within a team environment * Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to create comprehensive engineering documents * Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines * Ability to learn, excel and deliver at a quick pace is required * Must be able to explain technical details and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and be able to clearly and concisely explain system concepts and problems * Currently possessing or ability to successfully obtain Security Clearance Nice to have Experience or exposure to Kendo UI (or other component libraries) is a plus. Prior experience in an Agile development environment. Interest in full-stack work (both front-end and back-end). Familiarity with microservices or event driven systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $60.00/hr.
