Patient Services Coordinator - Healthcare Administration Location: On-site in Redding, CA Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience Level: Expert About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Patient Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients, from their first call to ongoing care coordination. Key Responsibilities * Patient Scheduling: Coordinate appointments efficiently and accurately. * Welcome Calls: Provide a warm and informative first point of contact for new patients. * Phone Support: Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy. * Reporting: Generate and manage reports to support operational needs. * Intake Coordination: Collaborate with intake staff to ensure seamless patient onboarding. * Authorization Management: Work closely with the authorization team to track and follow up on new and expiring authorizations. Required Skills & Qualifications * Proven experience in healthcare administration, insurance verification, and patient services * Strong background in customer service and phone communication * Expertise in intake coordination and scheduling systems * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redding, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
