Vaco is hiring for Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Miami, FL Compensation: $25-$26/hour This position is responsible for heavy account reconciliations, resolving customer deductions/disputes, along with collections. Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Heavy reconciliations; deductions, discounts, and customer disputes. Review and maintain a portfolio of assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports. Make calls or send emails in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations. Resolve client disputes in a timely manner. Respond to daily emails (internal or external) in a timely manner. Follow up on emails for "promise to pay" and "payment reminders" in a timely manner. Have a working relationship with vendors, internal sales personnel, and customers. Assist with other tasks within the accounting department as they are assigned. Experience and Skills The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4-5 years' heavy accounts receivable/collections. Heavy account reconciliations - deductions, discounts, and disputes Strong communication, problem solving, common sense, and analytical skills A MUST. Organized and attention to detail A MUST. Ability to communicate within all departments and management levels. Ability to work well within a team and independently. Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. Ability to follow written & verbal instructions. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook - will test excel skills, basic functions. Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics a plus. NetSuite a plus. Motivated and reliable. Working Knowledge of customer portals, a plus.
