Job Description Summary #LI-OnsiteInternal Job Title: Research Scientist II Location: San Diego, CA This position will be located at San Diego, CA site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. The Biologics Research Center (BRC) is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist II with the skills and experience to contribute to advancing ADC drugs to patients in need. This is a great opportunity to join a group dedicated to protein, antibody oligonucleotide/ antibody drug conjugate discovery. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated expertise in protein sciences with an emphasis on protein purification, process optimization, and characterization. Responsibilities will include a range of activities related to protein purification and characterization of complex antibodies. The ideal candidate will be familiar in the design, optimization, and execution of multi-step purification, analytical data interpretation, troubleshooting and formulation of final product, while maintaining a highly productive and collaborative culture. The salary for this position is expected to range between $73,500 and $136,500 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
