Now Hiring Finishing Technician

Location: Vista, CA

Schedule + Pay: 2nd Shift | 1 PM - 11:30 PM | $20 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Perform sanding, polishing, surface preparation, painting, and corrosion control according to established techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure all work complies with operational policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records (travelers) for all work performed.
  • Verify proper identification and maintenance of products daily.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all customer material handling and end-of-shift requirements.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe, serviceable condition.
  • Practice Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Tool Control at all times.
  • Consistently apply 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Participate in required internal training programs to stay current with procedures and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



  • U.S. Person status required due to export control regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and technical documents.
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Must pass and maintain respirator fit certification and be able to wear a respirator for an entire shift.
  • Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using whole numbers).
  • Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and documentation.
  • Basic computer navigation skills.
  • Experience using machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
