POSITION: Residential Loan Servicing Specialist

Position Summary:

Provides operational and servicing support to the Residential and Consumer Lending areas of the Bank, including mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, and consumer loans. This includes review of existing information in the core platform (Fiserv/DNA), boarding new loans and maintaining existing loans. Provides exceptional customer service to both internal colleagues and external customers.

Key Result Areas:

* Responsible for timely and accurate boarding and maintenance of all new and existing residential and consumer loans in the Bank's core, while adhering to Bank policy and the terms and conditions set forth in the loan documents. This includes new loan boarding, modification processing, and payment recasts.

* Process loan sales based on guidelines of various investors, including FannieMae and FreddieMac. Prepare the daily and monthly reporting and remittance for each investor, including balancing affiliated general ledger and custodial accounts. Ensure all loan records are updated accurately with the investor details and the digital loan files include any related documentation.

* Review construction loan advance requests from clients and work with inspectors to ensure work is complete prior to releasing funds. Monitor ongoing progress and process extensions when necessary to ensure projects are completed. Track inspection fees and ensure accurate recording of funds received and invoices paid.

* Reconcile and prepare various general ledger accounts and research variances.

* Prepare and circulate payoff quotes as requested, and collateral release documents when needed.

* Monitor and work daily exception reports, such as unapplied transactions, autopayment rejects, and tickler reports.

* Assist customers and internal business partners by phone or e-mail, ensuring all communication is logged in the Bank's CRM (Salesforce) and responses are received within set SLAs

* Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management preferred

* Two to four years of banking experience preferred, operational or teller experience a plus

* Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Fiserv DNA, and EllieMae Encompass

* Experience with HMDA data reporting is ideal

* Keen attention to detail, with the ability to meet critical deadlines with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

* Exceptional oral and written communication skills, utilized to strengthen customer and business partner relationships

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $28.12 - 36.53/hr. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
