Dealer Family Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Position Overview:

As the Dealer Family Continuous Improvement Coordinator (CIC) for Interstate Companies, you will lead and promote Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across our Dealer Family. This role is essential in ensuring our mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities are consistently applied throughout all locations. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for Elite Support, working closely with individual CICs and store leadership to drive operational excellence, enhance customer experience, and ensure annual certification compliance.



Key Responsibilities:

Operations Development:



  • Collaborate with functional and store-level leadership to align CI efforts with the Executive Strategic Plan.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business systems (Excede, Techlane, UTP, Medallia, ExWU, etc.).
  • Lead development and maintenance of Fixed Operations KPIs; prepare and distribute monthly metrics analysis to executive and functional leadership.
  • Manage and execute special projects as assigned.
  • Report Elite Support progress to senior management and gather feedback on Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).


CIC Development:



  • Create and maintain CIC Personal Development Plans and Evaluation Processes.
  • Oversee CIC training programs and provide mentorship and support.
  • Train, coach, and guide CICs to ensure consistent growth and performance.


Continuous Improvement Development:



  • Facilitate strategic planning with Dealer Group CICs to identify improvement opportunities and coach action plans to completion.
  • Host monthly CIC huddles via Microsoft Teams.
  • Support quarterly CI events across the Dealer Group, ensuring alignment with current criteria and strategic goals.
  • Promote consistency in CI and Elite Support training across all branches.


Continuous Improvement Application:



  • Lead CI events focused on standardizing processes across the Dealer Family, engaging stakeholders from Service, Parts, and Sales.
  • Identify and address non-compliance issues from annual Elite Support recertifications.



  • Coordinate structured rollout of DTNA initiatives to ensure consistent implementation, training, and effectiveness.


Travel Requirements:



  • Visit dealerships throughout the year.
  • Additional travel may be required for special projects, training, and CIC & CX Summits.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and Elite Support standards.
  • Proficiency in business systems and data analysis tools.


Preferred Skills:



  • CI certification (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Experience in automotive or dealership environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
