Job Mission

As an IT Project Manager for the Cymer Light Source division of ASML, you are responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to manufacturing, logistics, material planning, and finance application solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and IT teams. Your role is to drive projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that objectives are met, risks and costs are managed, and stakeholders are kept informed. You will work closely with business and IT leaders, facilitate regular project meetings, and report on progress and issues. This team operates within an Agile transformation environment, and you will have the opportunity to influence project management practices and methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring communication and alignment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Lead teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor resource usage and track costs.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet objectives.
  • Track progress using tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and report status to leadership.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Promote project management best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years professional experience in project management.
  • Experience managing projects involving SaaS integrations with ERP systems (Oracle EBS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable to change and able to work in a dynamic environment.

Other Information
  • This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$108,000-180,000

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
