Department Summary The UNT Dallas Parking and Transportation Services office is here to provide our campus communities with safe and efficient parking while on campus. We strive for excellent customer service while enforcing our university policies and guidelines. Our team is dedicated to assisting faculty, staff and students through special events, permit management and transportation resources. Position Overview This position is responsible for providing support and customer oriented services to Parking and Transportation Services. This position performs a variety of administrative support tasks that are non-routine and non-repetitive in nature, and require the use of independent judgment and initiative. Work includes public contact in interpreting Parking operational use guidelines, and rendering administrative decisions. Work is performed under general supervision, with assignments typically reflecting continuing responsibility for designated activities. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and prior experience in a public service, security, law enforcement, or related field. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications High School or GED equivalent and four years of progressively responsible office administration, bookkeeping or clerical experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Required License/Registration/Certifications Job Duties
