General Summary: The DS5 Inventory Specialist/Team Lead supports warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records in both physical and digital systems. Under direct supervision, this role helps ensure product security within the Distribution Center and assists with general warehouse monitoring. This is a safety sensitive position.

Job Duties:



  • Manage and maintain accurate product and material inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and follow inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Accurately receive, store, and put away inventory in designated locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and support annual physical inventory processes.
  • Identify, document, and process damaged or returned materials.
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.
  • Investigate system errors, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Crosstrain and assist other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Education and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse, MHE and inventory procedures.
  • Knowledge of spelling, grammar, and basic arithmetic.
  • Experience operating Sit-Down Forklift but not required.


Work Environment:

  • Warehouse work requires standing and walking on a concrete floor over 90% of the workday.
  • If operating MHE, getting on and off the equipment will be necessary throughout the workday.
  • Office areas are heated and air-conditioned. However, overall conditions and temperatures will reflect local weather conditions. Warehouses are not heated or air-conditioned. Warehouse conditions may be dusty.
  • Must be capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching regularly.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively for short periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hour schedule including extended hours as required.
  • Able to begin work at the start of the designated shift.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends. Weekend hours include opening and closing the building on scheduled Saturday shifts.
