The Sr. Manager, Risk leads a key function within Enterprise Risk Services (ERS), supporting DaVita's mission by delivering strategic risk management services across the organization. This role is responsible for driving the development and execution of projects that enhance operational effectiveness, compliance, and risk mitigation. The Sr. Manager will partner with business leaders to identify risk areas, design solutions, and deliver insights that support DaVita's strategic objectives. This position fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Risk team, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to direct reports.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of risk management projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess risk areas, develop mitigation strategies, and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on risk and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate the review and investigation of risk events, and participate in creating and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the team's risk management practices remain current and effective.
  • Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations on risk exposure and mitigation efforts to senior leadership and relevant committees.
  • Support the development and implementation of ERS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in risk management, advisory, audit, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of management experience leading teams or large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop actionable plans from data insights and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The Salary Range for the role is $110,000.00 - $161,000.00/year.
