As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driving Role in Suffolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer in a government location, you will conduct patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding quickly to situations, and maintaining open communication with the public and site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and/or critical situations within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter any unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
