What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by responding to questions and assisting with directions or site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of access control activities and incidents as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation support or coordination with emergency responders.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
