The position involves research investigation in the areas of cardiovascular and dual energy CT. Research in this laboratory focuses on applications of medical x-ray imaging for cardiovascular disease and cancer diagnosis. Applicants with a broad background in medical physics, physics, or electrical engineering are preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Those who possess a strong motivation to pursue an academic medical physics career are encouraged to apply. Strong background in physics, mathematics and software or hardware development skills are essential for this research. Also, the ability to communicate both verbally and in written format is important. Irvine is located in beautiful, sunny Southern California.
