As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Hotel in Locust Grove, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you'll play a key role in monitoring and patrolling a dynamic resort environment. You will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to all guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns to management or local authorities as required.
• Collaborate with hotel and resort personnel to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and staff.
• Assist with access control procedures and/or monitor entrances and exits as directed by site-specific guidelines.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
