As a Security Officer - Access Control Hotel in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Security Officer specializing in access control in a luxury hotel and resort environment, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a welcoming and secure atmosphere for guests and staff. You will interact with visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Manage access control at entry and exit points, verifying credentials and granting or denying access as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
• Collaborate with location management and Allied Universal leadership to address any security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
