Security Officer - Access Control Desk

As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure setting for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will perform routine patrols throughout the location, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies for access control at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and to support a secure environment within the commercial real estate property.
• Check identification, issue visitor passes, and/or verify credentials as part of access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and to observe any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Provide assistance during emergency response activities as needed, acting in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
