Description

SUMMARY: This position performs preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications and other line maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and FAA regulations; Communicate with all departments within the company; travel for station coverage, training and other maintenance support. Maintain company stations in accordance with company processes and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications and other line maintenance of aircraft
* Perform scheduled aircraft inspections
* Perform work to clear non-routines in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
* Maintain outbase station per ABX procedures
* Maintain station manuals and parts and tooling inventory in accordance with proper manuals
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass an MVR background check
* Airframe and powerplant license
* 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
* Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems, interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage
* Aircraft systems and technical knowledge, concentrating on aircraft type at the station applying for
* Ability to travel on company aircraft as required for AOG aircraft
* Ability to obtain SIDA badge (federally required background to obtain access to airports, aircraft and air cargo

PREFERRED SKILLS:
* 4 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
* 2 years hands-on line maintenance experience on type aircraft operated by ABX
* 757/767 experience
