You Are:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies, enabling them to deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.



The opportunity:



  • Data Analysis & Manipulation


    • Utilize Python and R for advanced data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
    • Apply libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn to perform comprehensive data exploration, cleaning, and transformation.
    • Develop and implement robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.


  • Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics


    • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
    • Execute a range of modeling tasks, including regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
    • Interpret model results to generate actionable business insights and support strategic initiatives.


  • Big Data Technologies


    • Manage and process large-scale datasets using tools such as Apache Spark.
    • Employ distributed computing and parallel processing techniques to optimize data workflows.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate big data solutions into enterprise platforms.


  • Collaboration & Communication


    • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from various departments to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
    • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the data science team.

What you need:

* Hands-on experience with data analysis tools: Proficient in using tools such as Python and R for data manipulation, querying, and analysis.

* Skilled in utilizing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn to perform in-depth data analysis and modeling.

* Skilled in machine learning and predictive analytics: Expertise in building, training, and deploying machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

* Capable of performing tasks like regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation, leading to data-driven predictions and insights.

* Expertise in big data technologies: Proficient in handling large datasets using big data tools such as Spark.

* Skilled in employing distributed computing and parallel processing techniques to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and analysis, enabling enterprise-level solutions and informed decision-making

* Experience: 8 to 10 years



Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range : $86,000-$129,000



Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
