As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist CRE in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and supporting security-related operations. Your presence helps to deter incidents while assisting visitors, managing access, and responding to needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm and problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with building management, staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
