Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to create a secure environment at a financial institution location by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve responding to security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service, while demonstrating reliability and integrity. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and vendors at the location, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols, reporting any security-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the financial institution.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond with appropriate actions during emergencies, while prioritizing the well-being of those present at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
