As a Unarmed Security Officer - Distribution Site in Maspeth, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and engaging with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and report any irregularities or breaches to the appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
