VBPC currently has an Assistant Director of Admissions and Referrals position available. The candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. The candidate selected will be responsible for the organizing, managing, and supervising ARC to ensure crisis intervention services are provided at the facility, on a mobile basis, and by telephone to make referrals on an as needed basis to the appropriate level of care within the integrated delivery system. Qualifications The following are the job requirements for the Assistant Director of Admissions and Referrals position: Requires Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work. Three or more years of direct or related mental health counseling experience. Three or more years supervisory experience. Must possess knowledge of current psychiatric diagnoses and treatment terminology; completed biopsychosocial patient assessments, including conducting formal mental status evaluation and patient medical history; community resources; third party payers, including managed care companies to develop and clinically appropriate crisis intervention and disposition plan; basic typing and computer literacy. Shift Details: Evening Shift. Mandatory on call as needed.
