Description TEKsystems is searching for an Aerial Foreman for our client in the Beckley, WV market! This client is a communications contractor offering a full range of fiber optic and cable network services. They are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems. * This company is looking to hire experienced Aerial Construction Crew members to work with our team. You'll join an existing team working many types of HFC/Broadband projects to include, BAU, spans, relos, Hyperbuild, Newbuild, Metro-E, etc. * These technicians will be aligned geographically and will be responsible for the hands on cable constructions for the WV market. * These crews will be working out in the field on a 2-man team to include a ground hand/ helper and will support telecommunications construction buildouts across various projects and environments. * They will be managed and held to standards by the construction coordinators and the customers they support. * Day to day project duties can vary but are not limited to over lashing, strand deployments, pole mounts/transfer, make-readies, fiber pulling, coax pulling (splicing if resource has the ability, if not dedicated splicers will be provided). Skills Telecommunication, Cable, Splicing, pole transfer, strand, overlashing, guey wire, fiber, Project coordination, Troubleshooting, Fiber splicing Additional Skills & Qualifications * Knowledge of HFC design * Ability to effectively communicate with others and work within a team environment * Ability to be at work every day at 7am * Ability to occasionally be On-Call for after-hours emergency work * Possession of a valid Driver's license * Ability to pass a drug screening * Ability to pass a background check * Ability to speak fluent English, * Ability to read and understand technical instruction * Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more. * High School Diploma or G.E.D Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beckley, WV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
