POSITION TITLE: Anticipated Special Education Teaching Assistant

BUILDING: Plattsburgh High School

CERTIFICATION: NYS Teaching Assistant Certification

EXPERIENCE:

• Work with students of various types of emotional, social, learning and behavioral difficulties
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work closely with classroom and special education teachers as well as related service providers
• Positive attitude, patience and flexibility in providing strategies to enable students to experience success
• Strong behavior management skills

SALARY:  Plattsburgh Teachers' Association Contract
