Role Summary and Purpose:

The Marketing Manager (Contractor) will support the execution of event and digital marketing initiatives, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. This role includes managing logistics and marketing support for internal and external events, including co-marketing with distribution partners, as well as overseeing content development for newsletters, social media, digital campaigns, and website updates.

A focus will be on developing creative assets (graphics, visuals, multimedia) to complement articles, website content, PR activities, and digital campaigns, addressing current gaps in Menlo's creative collateral.

This position works in close collaboration with another Marketing staff member ensuring seamless week-long coverage across shared projects, both positions reporting into the VP of Marketing.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Projects may be shared with other marketing staff and managed jointly to maintain continuity
  • Close collaboration, clear handovers, and shared documentation are expected to enable this coordinated delivery model.


1. Event Management & Execution



  • Support execution of events such as:
  • European Microwave Week (EuMW)
  • Association of Old Crows (AOC)
  • Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC)
  • IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS)
  • DesignCon
  • Coordinate event logistics: booth materials, shipping, vendor management, including on-site setup and teardown
  • Manage co-marketing activities with distributors, and third parties ensuring brand alignment and message consistency
  • Prepare event marketing materials and support lead capture and post-event follow-up aligned with Sales
  • Track event outcomes and assist in ROI analysis


2. Digital Marketing & Content & Asset Development aligned with Menlo's Messaging Document



  • Support e-newsletter content, aligned to corporate messaging and campaign objectives
  • Support social media content for Menlo's Social Media Strategy
  • Support execution of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., email, paid social, remarketing), coordinating assets and timelines
  • Develop and build creative assets (graphics, visuals, multimedia) to support articles, website updates, PR activities, and digital campaigns, addressing current creative gaps within Menlo
  • Maintain a digital content calendar and ensure consistent, on-brand execution across platforms


3. Collaboration & Coordination



  • Coordinate joint marketing efforts with partners and distributors as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the other Marketing staff member to manage handoffs, maintain alignment on shared projects, and ensure continuity in execution
  • Internal alignment with VP of Marketing to execute marketing plan


4. Performance Tracking & Reporting



  • Track key KPIs for events and digital campaigns, based on the Marketing Performance Metric Framework for FY26, including:
  • Social media # followers, reach & engagement
  • Campaign performance metrics with customer endorsement


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, , Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in event management, ideally in technology industry.
  • Proven track record of managing corporate events and customer seminars.
  • International event experience is valued.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools to evaluate event performance (Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
  • Digital Event Strategist (DES)
