Digital Test and Evaluation Practitioner

Key Role:

Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience performing test, evaluation, and integration on Major Defense Acquisition Programs

  • 6+ years of experience working in a collaborative team environment developing test strategies, plans, reports, or briefings and participating in test execution, verification, or analysis, including the assessment and use of laboratories as a part of verification

  • Experience executing test procedures in hardware or software in the loop lab

  • Ability to define, maintain, and execute large-scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field

Additional Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with the use or application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools or a project that uses these products

  • Experience using a MBSE approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines

  • Experience conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product development

  • Experience developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools

  • Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts regarding the use of engineering models across the lifecycle, authoritative lifecycle data, tool chains, digital threads, and digital twins

  • Master's degree in Engineering

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP Certification

  • SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification

  • Completion of the Test Manager A/B Course and TST 1100 and TST 2040 Air Force courses

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
