Security Officer - Shopping Supercenter Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Erie, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will conduct regular vehicle patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with the public, offer excellent customer service, and act with integrity while upholding our company's values of teamwork, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related needs and provide assistance as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
