In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the testing infrastructure for these critical components. You will contribute to key initiatives such as debugging and fixing legacy tests, reducing test noise, distinguishing between product and test-related issues, and modernizing older testing platforms. Your expertise will directly elevate the quality and resilience of essential technologies.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to validate system functionality.

* Test system modifications rigorously in preparation for implementation.

* Develop robust testing programs addressing critical areas like database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.

* Document software defects meticulously using bug tracking systems and report findings to development teams.

* Identify, analyze, and document problems related to program function, output, and content.

* Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successful outcomes.

* Create and maintain databases of known test defects for future reference and analysis.

* Plan test schedules and strategies in alignment with project scope and delivery timelines.

**Qualifications:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.

* 5-6 years of professional experience, with proficiency in C, C++, C#, and scripting.

* A minimum of three years of strong C and C++ experience is required.

* Demonstrated experience in testing software.

* Experience in writing test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and test results reports.

* Ability to analyze and interpret test results, providing actionable recommendations for testing improvements.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Solid C/C++ debugging ability.

* Experience with PowerShell.

* Domain knowledge in storage systems.
