Position Summary:

The primary function of the Pricing Analyst is to provide pricing solutions to affiliate Quote Center team and GMS customers through the sales and account management channels. The Pricing Analyst will manage affiliate pricing throughout all GMS markets. The Pricing Analyst will work with various departments and analyze competitor pricing based off the market to ensure the prices for the company's goods and services. This individual will be responsible for tracking projects through our tracking system with the assistance of job source generation companies and our sales team. This person will assist in maintaining pricing records in the company software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage affiliate Instant Price through the ERP and affiliate Quote Center.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate market price and cost for affiliates.
  • Integrate with the affiliate Quote Center team to ensure a synchronous process between the GMS field and affiliate.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sales and pricing.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer habits, market strategies and profitability.
  • Work with outside sales and become a liaison to coordinate sales and special job pricing.
  • Communicate and help implement pricing changes.
  • Develop effective presentations, articulating results from analyses and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding projects and our win loss ratio.
  • Track projects and keep the project information current

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred in finance, economics, business or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Comfortable meeting with vendors and customers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 70% of the time.
  • Will frequently move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.
  • Must be able to multitask.
