Security Officer - Residential Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Residential Entry Control in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a secure environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying credentials of residents, guests, and vendors according to site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting residents and visitors in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures as outlined in site-specific policies and post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, including coordinating with emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
