As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site-specific instructions.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner after each shift or incident.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
