Security Officer - Utilities Perimeter Rounds

As a Security Officer - Utilities Perimeter Rounds in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a utility setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to those on site. This role requires driving responsibilities as you navigate the location, remaining visible and approachable. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents as directed by site protocols.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
• Document all patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
