As a Security Officer - Access Control Manufacturing Site in Mechanicsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Manage access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report on security-related matters and/or unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate records of access control logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
