THE ROLE: AMD is seeking an experienced product engineering leader to manage and drive end-to-end product cost attainment from concept until ramp in production. THE PERSON: The person in this role will have direct visibility to the Executive Team, and will draw upon their years of managing large, complex engineering projects to bring best-in-class products to market. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's degree in engineering. (Master's degree preferred) LOCATION: Austin, TX THE ROLE As a Product Development Engineer, you will support and lead efforts to qualify and ramp nextgeneration AMD microprocessors. The role spans the New Product Introduction (NPI) and production lifecycle and may involve work in Data Analysis, Product Definition, and System-Level Test (SLT). Product engineers ensure overall compatibility, compliance, and test coverage of microprocessors-from initial silicon bring-up through highvolume manufacturing. This position specifically emphasizes Data Analysis, Yield Improvement, and ATE Test Point Optimization/Validation, including driving our team through critical test coverage and quality milestones. THE PERSON The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who can make sound technical decisions independently and take accountability for accuracy, reliability, and completeness of assigned work. This role provides the opportunity to influence technical direction across multiple products within the portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
