Inspector A Position Summary/Essential Functions: Sets up and performs mechanical, visual, and first article inspection of machined parts, castings, forgings, gears, complex precision parts and complex precision electro-mechanical assemblies to determine precise conformance to drawings and specifications. Performs and verifies compliance to acceptance test procedures. Must be able to work from complex blueprints, inspection specifications and verbal or written instructions with minimal supervision. Must have good working knowledge of military and commercial specifications, particularly ASME Y14.5M (dimensioning and tolerancing), non-destructive test methods and trigonometric equations.
