FOX Sports is looking for a Coordinator, Programming & Scheduling to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling responsibilities of FOX Sports cable networks. The Coordinator will input and create schedules, assign traffic codes, create program records and game selections, in addition to being the point of contact with internal and external partners.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and assign traffic/house numbers and track closed captioning needs for assigned FOX Sports properties
  • Verify schedules for properties are well-positioned, and contractual obligations are met
  • Draft, input, and distribute assigned FOX Sports cable network monthly schedules and update and maintain as needed
  • Address day-to-day issues and questions from internal stakeholders
  • Assigned schedule runs smoothly from draft to on-air
  • Support live event management & programming's operational role (contingency, switches)
  • Switching schedule is clean and updated, protecting FOX Sports from violating contractual limits.
  • Fulfill requests from internal departments as needed - including reports, analysis, tracks of internal and external programming information
  • Ensure information that is communicated to partners is tailored to their needs and delivered in a timely manner
  • Oversee departmental mailbox as needed
  • Help address internal and external schedule questions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to think strategically with regard to business problems
  • Capability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Able to switch between micro and macro views of the business

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Management experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-28.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
