The Natural Gas Scheduler position is a gas scheduling position that works in parallel with CPS Energy natural gas traders, external third-party gas suppliers, and intrastate transportation pipelines. CPS Energy purchases natural gas daily for gas-fired generation plants and San Antonio's retail distribution customers. Its primary function of the role is to schedule and monitor all natural gas nominations, daily flows, imbalances, cuts, and supplier/transportation reports. Additional responsibilities include managing CPS Energy's internal Gas Management System (ETRM) and performing the monthly gas settlement process. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Critical analytical experience demonstrated in a similar position.
Valid Texas Driver's License.
NERC certification must be completed within 30 days of employment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. Preferred Qualifications

Working Environment

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
