Overview

VTG is seeking a Management Analyst III-MVIM/VFORCE at Pax River, MD to provide program management / planning and scheduling support for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) MV-22 Inventory Management (MVIM) / V-22 Fleet Optimization and Reduction in Configuration Effort (VFORCE) Programs. Report directly to the MVIM/VFORCE Program Manager within the V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275). Primary duties will be to assist the Program Manager in overseeing and managing the operational and strategic aspects of the Programs to ensure efficient and effective maintenance, optimization, and configuration management of the V-22 fleet.


What will you do?

VFORCE/MVIM Management Analyst III shall provide Program Management support to the VFORCE Integrated Product Team Leads by:

* Providing system/subsystem/component Configuration Management (CM) support to the PMA-275 Fleet Management IPT with the primary objective to streamline and manage the V-22 aircraft modification and retrofit process.

* Being responsible for Modification Aggregation, Block Modification Planning, CM Process Support and Reporting and Documentation of all planned and in-process V-22 aircraft modifications. Modification Aggregation will include identifying/tracking and documenting all proposed, in-development and approved aircraft modifications and retrofit efforts for the V-22 Fleet.

* That effort will require interfacing with various IPTs, Engineering/Product Support Teams, and modification stakeholders, both internal and external to PMA-275, to gather data on technical changes, new capabilities, and obsolescence-driven configuration changes.

* Block Modification Planning will include, analyzing aggregated modification efforts to identify synergies and dependencies between modification efforts, consolidation of individual modifications into comprehensive "Block Modification Packages" based on logical groupings and anticipated fielding timelines, and developing and maintaining a master schedule for Block Modification introductions to align with planning maintenance intervals and Fleet priorities.

* Coordinating Configuration Management (CM) process support to include assisting in the preparation of routing all necessary Technical Directive (TD) documentation for each Block Modification through the formal NAVAIR CM approval process, tracking the status of all change requests and TDs from submission to final approval and implementation, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with NAVAIR standards and policies and facilitating communication and coordinating risks, issues and opportunities between V-22 Program Management, Engineering and Product Support personnel to ensure timely Government approval of modification packages.

* Reporting and documenting the above tasks by maintaining a centralized database and/or tracking system for all V-22 modifications, retrofits and Block configurations, while providing regular status reporting to V-22 Program Leadership on the progress of Block Modification development, approval and fielding.

* This position will require travel approximately 35% of the time.


Do you have what it takes?

Education: BS or BA degree.

Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of customer experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience - At least three (3) years of experience in USMC/USN/USAF operational inventory management/configuration management support. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide inventory management support in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment.

Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to support a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the V-22 Modernization mission

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $120,000-$130,000 annual salary, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
