US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required

Basic Experience:Intermediate Excel, ableto analyze data & apply customs requirements to data sets, 3yrs experience in General Customs plus 1yr Data Analysis or Logistics

Preferred Experience:Prior customs or Free Trade Agreement Analysis, andSAP software, USMCA Canadian Customer experience is a PLUS

Job Description:

Customs Analyst Primary Responsibilities:


* Extract and Analyze (BOMs) Bills of Materials for free trade agreement applicability

* Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status -United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

* Follow internal work instructions governing free trade agreement analysis and qualification

* Coordinate with supply chain on solicitation of USMCA certificates from suppliers

* Review of supplier provided USMCA Certificates (USMCAallows the certification of origin to be completed by the importer, exporter, or producer)

United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

*Analyze historical customs broker entry data to determine where post-entry claims should be made

* Support post-entry filings, including FTA Reconciliation, post-summary corrections and duty drawback

* Support other duty mitigation programs as needed


Basic Qualifications:

* Intermediate Excel skills

* Ability to analyze data and apply customs requirements to data sets

* Strong attention to detail

* 1-2+ years experience in data analysis, customs or logistics

Preferred Qualification:

* Prior customs experience

* Prior experience with free trade agreement analysis


* Prior experience with SAP
