Medical Bill Audit (MBA) / MedFlow Liaison Pay: $20-$25 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: 100% onsite - San Antonio, TX Overview This role serves as the primary liaison between injury adjusters and the medical bill audit platform, MedFlow. The position focuses on onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and process improvement to ensure efficient medical bill processing and strong adjuster support. This is not a claims adjusting role, but it requires fluency in injury claims workflows and medical billing operations. Key Responsibilities * Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for MedFlow, supporting adjusters in effective and compliant system usage * Onboard and train adjusters on MedFlow best practices, workflows, and efficiency techniques * Identify trends, common errors, and root causes impacting medical bill processing and bills pending * Analyze medical bill audit data and reports to identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities * Coordinate with the medical bill audit vendor to resolve workflow issues and improve processing outcomes * Support risk management and compliance by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating process-related risks * Review audit activity reports and ensure actions are completed within service level objectives (SLOs) * Assist leadership and member relations with responses to medical billing or payment-related complaints * Maintain and communicate user access updates for MedFlow Qualifications * Experience with medical billing, medical claims, or health insurance claims processing * MedFlow experience strongly preferred; medical billing experience will be considered * Understanding of first-party injury or auto claims workflows * Comfort analyzing data, identifying trends, and explaining insights to both operational and vendor teams * Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical processes into actionable guidance Ideal Candidate * Curious, analytical, and comfortable working independently * Strong problem-solver who can identify root causes and recommend improvements * Effective communicator who can collaborate with adjusters, leadership, and vendor partners * Interested in a coordinator/liaison role rather than a claims adjusting position Skills * MedFlow * Medical Bill Audit (MBA) * Medical and health insurance claims * Auto claims knowledge * Guidewire (preferred, not required) Experience Level * Entry level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
